If your machine comes with Lead Acid Batteries, AGM batteries, Gel Batteries, TPPL Batteries or Lithium Batteries, and you want to switch to a different type of battery, you will need to change the charging profile (algorhythm) in the charger to match the battery type, or damage can occur which is NOT covered under warranty.
